Burns Power Tools Long-term ad client Burns asked us to market a unique special event: Burns Power Tools Power Tool Expo, consisting of 25 manufacturers’ booths showcasing millions of dollars worth of equipment. In the first phase of the program we pitched the idea to major tool manufacturers and secured 25 participants. On the consumer side, our radio, TV, newspaper and billboard advertising program attracted thousands of contractors and do-it-yourselfers to the two-day event. We delivered a comprehensive effort for Burns that led to a highly successful promotion that generated sales and new customers.
Subway Sandwich Shops
We ensured that Subway shops across portions of southern New England started with plenty of sizzle by handling a full plate of advertising, public relations and grand opening events. The project scope included a super-sized 15 openings in three years. We consulted with each store’s owner to customize marketing and the actual event for each store’s unique market. Subway was very satisfied with customer counts for the openings and considered the entire campaign a success.
McCreary Tire
McCreary’s owners wanted to broaden market share by communicating a customer experience that women as well as men could appreciate. Supporting this basic thrust, we created, planned and coordinated a two-part opening celebration, including all marketing and public relations plus the actual event. Day one featured a cocktail party for customers and vendors. Day two featured a fashion show that raised money for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. The celebration was well attended, the message was received, and McCreary Tire reached its communications goal, positioning itself to go the distance.
