Somerset Federal Credit Union
During our relationship with SFCU, we have helped the one-location credit union differentiate itself and increase membership and business in Massachusetts' highly competitive Bristol County banking marketplace.
We were presented with a major challenge when SFCU decided to invigorate its home mortgage business circa 2005 and asked us to market its service. Amid the clutter of mortgage advertising during that time, we hit on a unique idea: A 3D billboard featuring a 9-foot "construction man" on a wood-frame "roof" that turned a flat billboard into a "home." Our man generated buzz, was spun into contests and was even the subject of a high school physics project. For two years, the board was the mainstay of a campaign that included newspaper ads, direct mail, website messaging and on-premise displays.
The results: SFCU went from a negligible volume in mortgage business to $40 million in the first 18 months of the campaign.
Handling SFCU's total communications programs , our most recent effort is a campaign aimed at building membership among teenagers that will help the credit union grow for the future.
